The place is nice. The beach and the surroundings are clean. There are lots of trees and plants around. The sand is not that fine though. It hurts a little when you walk barefooted. I know it's not Boracay, but I was hoping that the sand would come close even a little. It's definitely a good place to relax and unwind on a weekend. Besides, it's only a few hours drive from Manila.
The rooms were great as well. The bed and bathroom are neat. We stayed on a 2 double bed casita. It had a great view of the beach as well, with the sliding glass doors. I also enjoyed the veranda of the casita. You can just sit down and relax on the bamboo bench or hammock, and just stare at the beach.
We got the food package they have, which includes lunch, dinner and breakfast. At P1,100/head for adult, it was worth it. The portions were more than enough. They served salad, soup, main course, and desert for lunch and dinner. For breakfast they served fruits, main breakfast, and coffee/tea.
One drawback though is that the road towards the resort is a little rough and bumpy. I had to change a tire before taking off from the resort. Not sure if it's the road that caused it or something else. Fortunately, they are currently concreting most of the path and hopefully they can get it done soon.
